Abud: A Band (2018)

is a 5 piece original folk/jam band fronted by Oud player/lead vocalist James Abud. The band has been getting audiences jumping since February of 2018 with their original blend of American Folk, Funk, Bluegrass, and Arab Dance Music. The mission statement of the band is to create a positive, self-love themed music that marries virtuosic musicianship to beautifully emotional, honest and often hilarious storytelling. The singalongs are infectious.

Abud: A Bard (2013)

is a One-Man original music and improv comedy show from local blob of carbon James Abud. It’s the same repertoire as the Band, but done by one person all at once! Abud plays instruments with his hands (Guitar, Banjo, Ukulele), his feet (Cajon, Tambourine, etc.) and his face (Singing, Harmonica, Kazoo). It’s really quite the spectacle.

The Musical and narrative Work of James abud Is The Sound of practical love and accidental magic.
